Pinhead Institute strives to promote science education both locally and globally. An international network of leading scientists supports the Institute’s many educational programs, providing opportunities for high-level science learning in rural Colorado. Designed for students and adults, the participatory activities promote community scientific literacy and environmental understanding. The Institute has partnered with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) on Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos, offering the educational program to strengthen science and technology skills of youths around Telluride, Colorado.
