Affiliate Profile
The San Diego History Center, a Smithsonian Affiliate, preserves and shares San Diego’s diverse history to inspire learning and community connection. With the Junípero Serra Museum in Presidio Park and the History Center and Research Archives in Balboa Park, it presents exhibitions, programs, and collections—including the new Center for Women’s History. A Smithsonian Affiliate since 2013, it has hosted traveling exhibitions since 1992.
