The David J. Sencer CDC Museum, located at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) headquarters, features award-winning exhibitions that focus on a variety of public health topics. The museum highlights the accomplishments and history of CDC and has hosted two traveling exhibitions and teacher workshops from the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. In addition, the Museum collaborated with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian to develop the traveling exhibition, Through the Eyes of the Eagle, to draw attention to the problem of juvenile diabetes.
