Affiliate Profile
Columbia Memorial Space Center is a hands-on learning center dedicated to space science education. The Columbia Memorial Space Center is also home to the only Challenger Learning Center in the greater Los Angeles area, which offers immersive learning experiences by involving students in a simulated space mission. Since becoming a Smithsonian Affiliate in 2011, the Space Center has hosted a Smithsonian traveling exhibition and program that reinforces its educational mission.
