Affiliate Profile
Established in 1864, the Arizona Historical Society serves as the steward of state and regional history; its mission is to collect, preserve, interpret, and disseminate the history of Arizona. Its collections include more than three million artifacts, which are housed in museum facilities throughout Arizona. A Smithsonian Affiliate since 2000, the museum has frequently participated in the Smithsonian magazine's Museum Day Live! annual event.
