Historic Annapolis is dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic character of Annapolis. The organization accomplishes this mission through preservation, exhibitions and educational programs at its five properties, including the Historic Annapolis Museum and the William Paca House and Garden. Through its sites, collections and programs, Historic Annapolis shares the city’s stories and connects residents and visitors to the area’s diverse heritage. Future projects include plans for an exhibition on the history of Annapolis as told through 99 iconic objects, a traveling exhibition on runaway slaves of the Chesapeake, and deepening opportunities for summer internships. Through its community and strategic partnerships, Historic Annapolis serves as a leader in the preservation and education of the cultural resources of Maryland’s capital city.
