New Mexico Museum of Space History educates its visitors in the history, science, and technology of space. It recognizes the individual achievements that have helped to further humanity’s exploration of space, makes note of crucial aeromedical and space-related tests, and emphasizes the significant role that the state of New Mexico has played in the development of the United States space program. Its collection features over 21 objects on loan from the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum.
