The National Museum of Dentistry celebrates the history of dentistry and raises awareness of the importance of good oral health to a healthy life through traveling exhibits, online games, field trips, and more. Designated by Congress as the official museum of the dental profession, the Museum provides a unique and fascinating look at the history of dentistry and the power of good oral health. The Museum presents two skulls on loan from the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and four 19th century excavators from the office of legendary dentist, G.V. Black, on loan from the National Museum of American History.
